As a Maine owner-operated independent insurance agency established in 1990, we have proudly been serving our varied clients for seventeen years. We have licensed producers and competent customer service representatives to assist you with your insurance needs.
Spencer Insurance Agency is dedicated to offering its clients the down-home service we are known for, keeping knowledgeable staff in our office, and offering the most appropriate insurance coverage for your needs.
Our clients include individuals with personal coverage needs including life and disability, as well as businesses, such as contractors and retailers, and boat owners, both personal and commercial.

Robin
Robin started her insurance career in 1980 after graduating from Husson College in 1979. She obtained her property & casualty producers license in 1981 and her life/health insurance license in 2004. She was very active with The National Association of Insurance Women, holding several officer positions, including Maine State Director.in 2000-2001. Robin recently joined the Ark Animal Shelter on their Board of Directors. Robin is also active as an Ambassador From Maine for the Arthritis Foundation and chairs their annual fundraising walk in Bangor, held in May.
Robin lives in Hampden with her husband, Tracy. She enjoys hiking, kayaking, traveling, snowmobiling, and spending time with their two dogs – Meikah and Symba.
Gina
Gina started at Spencer Insurance Agency in 1997. She obtained her property & casualty producers license in January of 2000, and is now working full-time at the agency. She handles both personal and commercial lines accounts. She lives in Penobscot with Martin and their three children. They enjoy boating and traveling.
Gayle
Gayle started with Spencer Insurance Agency in the summer of 2001, while a freshman at Deer Isle-Stonington High School. She works as a CSR and has been learning all aspects of an insurance agency. She is a valued asset.
Gayle recently graduated from the University of Maine at Machias with a Bachelors of Science in Business Management and Entreprenurial Studies. She is currently attending the University of Missouri pursuing a Masters in Business Administration. She continues to work here during the summer months. She enjoys music and spending time with her friends and family.
Renee
Renee started at Spencer Insurance Agency in the winter of 2008 as CSR/Receptionist. She is currently studying to obtain her property & casualty license. She works part time in the winter months at the agency. She lives in Deer Isle with her husband Ryan and their two daughters, Marina and Bailey. They enjoy spending time outdoors and on the water.
